Hit-N-Run holding tryouts for baseball team Sept. 16

Hit-N-Run Batting Cages is proud to announce that it will host its first Travel Baseball Team.  The team will be a 13-yr-old team that will be coached by coach Leon Butts and professional MLB Scout Lary Aaron. Coach Tim will facilitate the classroom curriculum, as well as cage instructions.  The fall instructional session is the beginning of a team that will continue through next spring.

Bening plays in baseball showcase

Whitewater High School Baseball standout, Hunter Bening, was recently selected for the 2012 Major League Baseball East Coast Pro Showcase in Syracuse, NY on August 1 - 4.

PTB Gamecocks win state championship

In the front row are Max Geiger, Christophe Senghor, Duncan Farrell and Cole Pfaffman. In the middle row are Tyler Nigro, Jack Moore, Jacob Cole, Matt Hill,  Ben Stewart and Kurtis Austin. In the back row are Coach Marvin Hill, Coach Sitor Senghor, Manager Jason Cole and Coach John Moore.

District 4 Big League retires the T-Ratts jersey

spor_062012_big league t-ratts_COLOR.jpgJune 17 was a special day for District 4 Big League.  Besides being Father’s Day, it was the last day of the spring season for the teams. Those 18 year olds who are graduating out of the program were given graduation certificates and the teams all received Apples Pies, a long-standing tradition in the program. And, the league officially retired the name “T-Ratts” from their program.
