Bening plays in baseball showcase

Whitewater High School Baseball standout, Hunter Bening, was recently selected for the 2012 Major League Baseball East Coast Pro Showcase in Syracuse, NY on August 1 - 4.

Twenty seven players from Georgia and Florida were selected from over 500 High Schools by MLB Scouts to represent the Atlanta Braves during this event.Five other teams participated in this showcase from Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Bening has accepted an offer to play Baseball for the University of Georgia upon completion of his Senior year at Whitewater High School.
