Local teams run well in Atlanta Classic
Our Lady of Mercy, Whitewater and Landmark Christian ran in the Atlanta Classic last Saturday.
In the Girls Championship division, Whitewater placed fifth overall, Landmark placed 10th and Our Lady of Mercy placed 15th.
Whitewater’s top five runners were: Mackenzie Nail, 4, 18:59.88; Alana Hood, 17, 20:24.18; Emma Brodzik, 36, 21:18.80; Catherine Kuras, 51, 22:05.51 and Katie Kirkland, 66, 22:39.54.
Landmark’s top five runners were: Kathryn Foreman, 3, 18:40.51; Courtney Gilliam, 38, 21:21.86; Kaylin Deel, 55, 22:11.45;
Rebecca Moody, 75, 22:52.79 and Colyer Montgomery, 103, 24:20.79
Mercy’s top five runners were: Jade Grier, 53, 22:07.99; Pauline Cobb, 79, 22:58.61; Melissa McGilloway, 102, 24:13.65; Leah Banks, 111, 24:38.01 and Jordan Rheingrover, 128, 25:50.11
In the Boys Championship division, Mercy placed 17th, Whitewater placed 20th and Landmark (60,120,130,140, 147) placed 22nd.
The top five runners for the Bobcats were: John Raville, 6, 16:40.13; Maddox Caporini, 78, 18:53.80; Jeffrey Balco, 103, 19:30.18; John Lynch, 120, 19:52.14 and Alex Hennie-Roed, 125, 19:57.77.
Whitewater’s top five runners were: Parker Nail, 37, 17:52.70; Andrew Helvig, 84, 19:04.17; Greg Chafin, 122, 19:53.29; Ryan Forse, 124, 19:56.99 and Quinn Knapper, 133, 20:10.19.
Landmark Christian’s top runners were: Spencer Geerlings, 61, 18:30.88; Daniel Wilson, 126, 19:58.61; Ty Janyaem, 137, 20:31.92; Jeffrey Snyder, 150, 21:23.80 and Mason Mahaffey, 159, 25:25.84.
