Whitewater and Sandy Creek go 5-1 at Lovett

Whitewater went 5-1 at the Lovett Block Party Invitational getting wins over Athens Academy (25-18, 25-22), South Forsyth (25-18, 25-17), Milton (25-15, 25-18), Columbus (25-18, 15-25, 25-20) and Westminster (25-16, 25-15) before losing to Pope.

Sandy Creek also went 5-1 at Lovett. They got wins over St. Paul’s, Ala. (25-22, 25-19), Bluffton, SC (25-15, 25-13), Lovett (25-17, 25-20), Walker (25-20, 25-17) and Hoover, Ala. (25-14, 25-4) before losing to McGill-Toolen, Ala. 25-18, 25-23.

Landmark Christian went 1-3 at Lovett. The Lady War Eagles defeated Walker (25-22, 25-21), but lost to St. Paul’s (25-15, 25-16), Walker (25-21, 26-24) and St. Pius X (23-25, 25-22, 15-25).

Starr’s Mill’s Lady Panthers lost to Holy Innocents on Friday (25-19, 25-21), fell to Northgate on Saturday and also lost to Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy on Saturday (25-19, 25-20).
